This is a full-time exempt level position.
**Position Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced and results driven Director, NA Quality Corn & Oilseeds to lead quality and food safety (QFS) efforts for our Corn and Oilseeds operations. This position will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvements of quality programs and initiatives and quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, customer requirements, and internal benchmarks. This position will provide strategic leadership, direction, and guidance, and play a critical role in driving product excellence. This position will report directly to the Vice President, Corn & Oilseeds operations.
The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in the agricultural and/or food processing industries. Additionally, should be able to have a consistent track record of driving positive change. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required as this person must work effectively across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
**Job Responsibilities:**
+ To set the vision, goals, and strategies for QFS management and align them with the organization strategy and culture
+ Lead functional areas of quality assurance and quality control across all corn & oilseeds locations
+ Provide strategic direction and leadership to meet the QFS needs of our businesses across all global regions, including a synergistic and collaborative partnership across multiple functions and cultures
+ Lead the implementation of a global Quality Management System, including standardized metrics, to drive improved performance and efficiencies
+ Evaluate our QFS programs and procedures, identifying how to effectively standardize and integrate the QFS team, programs, and procedures across the organization
+ Provide subject matter authority advice for QFS compliance and act as key contact/decision maker when major issues arise
+ Assess product risks and work with facilities/division/corporate specialists to implement mitigation plans
+ Drive improvements in global QFS related systems, technologies, and metrics to promote data-driven decision making
+ Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing QFS team, fostering a strong culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
**Job Requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in an agricultural related field (Master’s degree preferred)
+ 10+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality control methodology and processes, food safety plans, and quality management systems in agricultural or food processing industries
+ Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams
+ In-depth knowledge of FDA and industry regulations
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities
+ Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage initiatives simultaneously
+ Able to effectively communicate (both verbal and written) throughout all levels of the organization and with customer, suppliers, and regulatory officials as needed
+ Proficient in quality management tools and software, computer databases, and Microsoft Office applications
+ This position requires a minimum of 30% travel, including international travel

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$120,800.00 - $222,100.00
**Salaried Incentive Plan:**
The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus and a long-term incentive plan
