JOB SUMMARY
This job directs and manages activities to support end-to-end program delivery of key cross-functional Operations AI initiatives, manages the portfolio of AI technology and related initiatives, and leads change management and communications delivery across the business unit related to AI implementations. Develops and facilitates strategic planning processes across the business unit, including strategic road mapping/ideation, governance, and prioritization of proposed AI-driven initiatives. Develops, maintains, and provides guidance on best practice project management and change leadership methodology within the business for AI projects. Partners with the organization's portfolio team to initiate, plan, and execute strategic AI initiatives. Creates and manages portfolio, program, and project-level reporting and metrics specific to AI projects. Identifies, escalates, and manages cross-portfolio dependencies and risks and proactively develops risk mitigation strategies in the context of AI initiatives.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department; develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority.
Facilitate the development of executive-level strategy and road mapping across the broader organization.
Support project initiation and business case and visioning activities including articulation of cost, benefit, and other key metrics to measure success. Manage and monitor the organization's project portfolio of technology and non-technology initiatives; establish and report upon qualitative and quantitative measurements of project status and success.
Lead program, project, and change management activities for key business initiatives, including the establishment of governance, communication, and transition plans. Establish and maintain best practice program, project, and change management methodologies.
Establish and maintain partnerships with business owners to ensure the team functions as a trusted adviser to the executive team.
