The Director, PMO, Microbiology for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver major programs within the Microbiology product lines, from business case development through product launch and transition to sustaining operations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Lead Core and Extended Teams to execute program objectives.Resolve escalated issues and facilitate trade-off decisions within project scope.Ensure teams are staffed with qualified resources.Serve as the primary communication point for project updates to L1 Microbiology Team via PPG, and functional leaders.Drive achievement of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) metrics.Identify risks and implement countermeasures for delays or budget overruns.Utilize project management tools to track progress and ensure compliance with internal policies.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field. (Master’s or MBA preferred)Prefer 9+ years of relevant experience (or prefer 7+ years with a Master’s), including preference for 2–5 years in program/project management.Experience in FDA-regulated/IVDR environments strongly preferred.PMP or equivalent certification highly desirable.Strong leadership and influence skills in a matrixed organization.Proven ability to manage PM reports thru multi-disciplinary projects.Willingness to travel 10–15% (domestic and international).

The salary range for this role is $200,000 - $215,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
