At University Health & Rehabilitation Center, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Director to join our team. As a key member of our management team, the HR Director will play a crucial role in shaping the human resources function to support the delivery of exceptional care to our patients and residents.
Job Summary:
The HR Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining human resources policies, procedures, and programs that align with the organization's mission and goals. This includes recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, and compliance with federal and state regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and experience in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement human resources policies, procedures, and programs that support the organization's mission and goals
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new employees, ensuring a high-quality candidate pool and seamless onboarding process
• Provide guidance and support to employees on human resources-related issues, including conflicts, performance issues, and leave administration
• Administer benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans
• Develop and manage the annual budget for human resources department
• Conduct employee relations investigations and resolve disputes
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement performance improvement plans
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and FMLA
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, management, and external partners
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance regulations
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
