To ensure that Welcome Office operates effectively at all times. To strategically plan for the future and ensure that the department is capable of providing excellent operation at all times. To ensure the Human Resources needs of the department (e.g. Talent and their effective training) are effectively implemented at all times. **Responsibly Description** -Be the driving force of the W brand language, personality, and Whatever/Whenever promise throughout Welcome Office. -Be ultimately responsible for the actions and operations of Welcome, Concierge, Wired and Whatever/Whenever Talent. -Ensure that the Talent are always equipped with necessary materials to conduct their daily operational duties. -Together with Director of Rooms and Director of Revenue Management, control room type availability, room count and rate category accuracy. -Review arrival information on a daily basis, pay special attention to VIPs, regular guests, SPG guests, long stay, groups, special requests and follow up with relevant departments. -Approve upgrades and special amenities. -Adhere to complimentary rooms procedures. -Set up systems to monitor achievement of departmental goals and objectives. -Set up systems to capture guest feedback and report to other departments on a regular basis. -Be ultimately responsible for the SPG program for the hotel, ensure that enrolment targets are met, and SPG guests are provided and satisfied with their benefits. -Adhere to hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures. _At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
