JOB SUMMARY:
Position serves as the systems expert regarding the ticket software system and ticket operations. This position role primarily oversees Men's Basketball ticketing operations and serves as secondary lead for Football ticket operations. This position manages two full-time employees and focuses on revenue growth, fan experience enhancement, and operational expertise.
JOB DUTIES:
40% - Essential - System, Technical and Online Ticket Sales: Serves as the systems expert regarding the ticket software system (Archtics) and ticket operations at Clemson, as well as will utilize the ticket software and train internal Athletic and IPTAY Staff on how to utilize all facets of the software. Manages all season setup in Archtics and sales online through Clemson Account Manager and TM Host. Oversee Ticketmaster Virtual venue for season ticket seat selection. Troubleshoots issues with online ticket transfers, resale and fraudulent tickets.
25% - Essential - Ticket Operations Oversight: Serves as the primary contact for Men's Basketball. Oversees proper execution of ticketing operations for all other sports (Football, Men's Soccer, Women's Gymnastics, Women's Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Women's Lacrosse. Manages network and connectivity to ensure game day activity throughout the stadium and other athletic venues run without interruption. Travel to out-of-town events to administer ticketing responsibilities as need. Includes regular season football, postseason football and men's basketball, and other travel as needed.
15% - Essential - Strategic Sales/Communications: Supervises the season ticket renewal process for football and men's basketball and works directly with the marketing, communications, and IPTAY on a ticket sales strategy. Works in conjunction with the marketing staff and external staff on creating timelines, tracking progress and also trains staff in messaging and goals to ensure goals are met. Reviews results and continues to research other strategic sales opportunities. Assists in the allocation of season ticket orders with the IPTAY and Athletic Major Gift Staff.
15% - Essential - Customer Service/Personal Growth/Supervision: Manages, trains, evaluates and fosters professional growth of athletic ticket office staff. Supervises 2 FTE positions. Completes performance evaluations in timely manner. Ensures incoming calls and visitors are received on a daily basis, including football game days. Solves programmatic and procedure problems which requires substantial knowledge of Athletic and IPTAY rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
5% - Essential - Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Bachelor's Degree
Work Experience - 5+ years
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Education - Master's Degree
Work Experience - Work experience that is closely related to ticket office sales, customer service and operations, as well as experience in the technical components of the ticketing industry.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.

Normal Operations
Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
