Responsibilities We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Technology to lead HYE’s technology vision, strategy, and operations. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in IT infrastructure and data and will serve as a trusted advisor and collaborator to business leaders. This role will champion technology as a driver of business value and operational excellence, ensuring that systems not only support daily operations and guest-facing platforms but also enable business growth, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. The Director of Technology will operate as both a strategic leader and a hands-on practitioner, bringing strong executive presence, fostering deep collaboration with stakeholders, and balancing operational reliability with forward-looking innovation. Key Responsibilities Business Partnership & Strategy Advise senior leadership on technology strategy, ensuring initiatives and investments align with organizational priorities, business goals, and guest experience objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional leaders, vendors, and partners to ensure technology solutions and investments deliver measurable business value and support organizational goals. Technology Operations Lead initiatives for the business while being mindful of our company IT standards and best practices with data integration, and analytics. Champion the adoption of modern toolsto improve efficiency and reduce costs. Support the design and implementation of integrated data and technology frameworks, translating analytics insights into scalable solutions that improve operations, enhance decision-making, and elevate customer experience. Oversee day-to-day IT operations across high-volume attractions, ensuring system uptime, reliability, and exceptional guest experiences. Provide strategic direction for enterprise applications and infrastructure, maintaining a holistic view of how technology supports both front-of-house and back-office operations. Manage technology budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to deliver cost-effective, innovative, and value-driven solutions. Operational Excellence & Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices that improve scalability, efficiency, and cost savings. Develop and enforce data quality measures to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of insights. Oversee technology-enabled improvements in business processes, including customer engagement, retail operations, and vendor management. Team & Organizational Leadership Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of technology and data professionals in a lean, operational environment. Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture that emphasizes innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package. Anticipated base salary range: $160,000 - $170,000 / year Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). 10+ years of progressive leadership experience with proven impact in technology strategy, application management, data analytics, and business operations. Proven success in high-volume, guest-facing sectors such as hospitality, attractions, entertainment, retail, or related industries is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of industry business processes and technology applications Broad understanding of IT strategy, enterprise applications, cloud-native solutions, and business systems, with the ability to guide subject matter experts. Strong executive presence and ability to partner with senior leaders to align technology investments with organizational priorities and customer experience goals. Demonstrated success in leading high-performing teams, managing complex datasets, and developing innovative business solutions. Excellent communication skills with ability to convey technical concepts to business leaders and stakeholders. High emotional intelligence (EQ) and empathy in working with diverse teams. Skilled negotiator and consensus builder. Comfortable influencing without direct authority. Skills & Competencies: Strategic business partner mindset with broad technology fluency. Deep expertise in data analysis, process improvement, and market research methodologies. Skilled in organizational change management and driving adoption of new solutions. Strong collaborator and influencer, able to bridge technical and business perspectives. Forward-looking leader with ability to anticipate trends and drive innovation.
