What you’ll do: Responsibilities

Support the evaluation and implementation of strategies to effectively manage taxes while mitigating risk including gathering necessary factual information, performing tax research, preparing internal presentations and completing any required tax compliance. Track global tax legislation changes and provide technical evaluation of proposed or enacted legislation. Support tax department in federal tax compliance and quarterly tax provision.. Support US and non-US tax audits including gathering required factual information, providing input on audit strategy and preparing any required tax reserve analysis. Support special tax-related projects. Be a key, strategic business partner who brings their tax acumen to help solve issues and identify opportunities.

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE: Requirements

5+ years of technical tax knowledge and the ability to apply such knowledge in a practical, strategic and compliant manner. Public accounting or tax consulting experience in international tax is preferred. Strong analytical ability and judgment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines. Must have a demonstrated hands-on approach and success in working in a team-based environment. Must be a motivated self-starter with ability to manage projects to completion and anticipate issues that may arise. Position will be based in Roseland, New Jersey.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is USD $98,000.00 - USD $198,800.00 / Year*
