**Job Description** The Director of Student Financial Services (SFS) provides strategic leadership and oversight of all financial aid and student account operations at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS). This role ensures the efficient administration of student financial services, compliance with federal and state regulations, and the delivery of exceptional service to students. The Director collaborates closely with senior leadership on the management and stewardship of the ESI need-based scholarship program, leads financial literacy and debt management initiatives, and oversees all audits, program reviews, and compliance requirements. Non-Bargaining Unit, 802 - Enrollment Services - ISM, Icahn School of Medicine **Responsibilities** _Leadership & Operations_ + Oversee the daily operations of Student Financial Services, ensuring the effective delivery of financial aid and student accountservices. + Develop, implement, and assess policies, procedures, and technologies that enhance operational efficiency and servicequality. + Lead, mentor, and evaluate staff to promote professional growth, teamwork, andaccountability. _Customer Service & Student Success_ + Establish and uphold high standards of customer service across all SFS activities. + Design and deliver workshops and communications that promote financial literacy, debt management, and informed financialdecision-making. + Collaborate with administrative leads within Enrollment Services (Admissions Operations and Registrar), Academic Program Leadership, and Student Affairs to support student recruitment, retention, and satisfaction initiatives. _Compliance & Reporting_ + Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and institutional financial aid and cash management regulations, including TitleIV. The salary range for the role is $86772 - $150000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
