Director of Sponsorships and Partnerships

**Overview**
Intuit is seeking an experienced executive to lead its sponsorship and partnership strategy, executive engagement, and overall activation. This Director will be responsible for building a world-class Center of Excellence that sets the pace for innovative and impactful partnerships across the entire Intuit enterprise. The leader will play a pivotal role in elevating the Intuit brand as an AI-driven expert platform that powers customer prosperity, leveraging cornerstone brands like TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp to increase brand awareness and accelerate growth for the company. This position contributes significantly to moving Intuit from a house of brands to a branded house.
Reporting to the VP, Brand, the Director of Sponsorships and Partnerships will be responsible for leading the strategy and activation of the Intuit platform brand in major sponsorships and partnerships. This position includes:
+ Brand strategy and activation for Intuit as a platform, specifically through high-profile partnerships such as the Intuit Dome and NFL.
+ Go-to-market planning across the family of brands, ensuring integrated and cohesive partnership activations.
+ Driving increased Intuit awareness and association of cornerstone brands through coordinated, cross-Intuit activation of high-profile partnerships.
+ Building a modern, highly impactful Center of Excellence that will be at the heart of the Intuit partnership ecosystem.
**What you'll bring**
Experience:
+ 15 years of proven sponsorship leadership experience with an emphasis on strategic partnership identification and negotiation, executive engagement, and overall activation across channels.
+ Experience with large, matrixed organizations managing and maintaining brand partnerships; brand side experience is a must.
+ Experience managing agencies including sports, entertainment and title sponsorships.
+ Exposure to tech or financial services across B2C and B2B is ideal.

+ Strategic and analytical thinker with a customer-obsessed, data-driven approach.
+ Ability to drive transformational change while working across boundaries and building relationships cross-functionally.

+ Ability to effectively balance domain expertise (function-specific craft skills) and leadership skills to drive impact and results.
+ Proven experience working with product organizations and highly technical teams.
Domain Expertise:
+ Strong understanding of brand strategy and x-channel story telling.
+ Experience negotiating complex partnership and sponsorship agreements. Sports and Entertainment experience is a plus.
+ Experience with 360 campaign development and cross-channel creative and media experience.
+ Experience with marketing operations and execution.
+ A customer-first approach.
**How you will lead**
+ Platform Brand Sponsorship Strategy: Define and lead the strategy for Intuit’s transformation into a platform brand through major sponsorships, cohesively bringing Intuit and its cornerstone brands together to shape the market.
+ Partnership Activation and Management: Drive end-to-end management and execution of sponsorship activations across current cross-ecosystem partnerships, including establishing Intuit Dome as a ‘world-class’, tech-led, entertainment venue and coordinating NFL partnerships. This also involves evaluating and negotiating prospective partnerships. The role emphasizes strategic partnership establishment, executive engagement, and overall activation.
+ Go-to-Market Integration and Demand Generation: Lead company-wide market shaping campaigns that establish Intuit’s category leadership in AI through partnerships. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product marketing, brand, creative, social, communications, global sourcing, procurement) to drive strategy and activation, increasing brand awareness for new customer conversions and growth. The Director operates and makes an impact across organizational and global boundaries.
+ Cultural Relevance and ROI: Deliver 10X activations and net new partnerships that build cultural relevance of Intuit and accelerate perceptions of Intuit as an innovative technology brand at scale. Lead the team to drive outcomes and increased ROI of sponsorships, increasing Intuit Brand Familiarity and Awareness metrics.
