This includes the management and administration of all programs that support a safe work environment, minimize liability, increase overall cost effectiveness and support the hotel's service standards. **The hotels** When you stay at a Thompson Hotel, you are welcomed as a resident. Thank you for your patience while we do so. **Duties include but are not limited to:** + Establish and implement departmental policies and procedures in accordance with property/corporate security and loss control requirements to ensure security personnel provide maximum guest, employee and property safety and security at all times. + Coordinate and promote acceptance of and compliance with loss prevention programs. + Manage and coordinate the development and implementation of the security and operational risk management program. + Research and recommend new and updated trends in loss control and prevention. + Identify areas of non-compliance in the business operation; recommend corrective action to remedy deficiencies. + Coordinate and manage effectively the hotel's Safety Management Systems. + Effectively lead the Security team. **Qualifications:** + Prior leadership experience in Security/Loss Prevention operations.. + Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. + Ability to handle all risk-related issues with tact and privacy. **This is not your typical career opportunity.
