THE IMPACT OF THIS ROLE
Responsible for establishing and achieving the goal of the entire sales and marketing portfolio for the Rosewood Hotel Georgia. Hire, develop and lead sales and marketing staff with on-going strategies of property exposure, resulting in market share increase. Collaborate in marketing plan development for the food and beverage & spa divisions of the property.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet overall revenue objectives for Rooms, Food and Beverage and Spa sales. Develop a strategic action plan to effectively solicit and gain market share in Transient Corporate/Leisure, Entertainment and Group markets. Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet Spa sales and Spa positioning objectives. Develop and execute a strategic plan to secure food and beverage and event sales. Manage Regional and National Public Relations initiatives. Develop and execute an annual Marketing and Expense plan, meeting predetermined expectations. Manage advertising plans. Work with various Rosewood Hotels and Resorts internal teams to efficiently maximize all channels and opportunities to succeed.CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience: Minimum eight years' experience in the hospitality industry for a luxury or ultra-luxury company. Minimum three years' experience as a Director of Sales and/or Marketing for a luxury or ultra-luxury property.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business, Sales, Marketing or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
General Skills: Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy' prioritize, organize and follow-up; be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment; follow directions thoroughly; understand a guest's service needs' work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team; work with minimal supervision; maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Language: Proficiency in English required; other language proficiency preferred.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
