Job DescriptionAs a member of the Hotel's Executive Committee and the Division Head, you will manage the Sales & Business Development Team at the property level.
You will work closely with the Hotel General Manager, Corporate Office, and your team to set up, establish, and drive the hotel's financial performance and create results by maximizing sales efforts with innovative marketing ideas. You will develop rapport with key clients and feel comfortable taking risks by entering into new markets. Further, you will have to attend domestic and international trade shows and major market events to promote new business and increase sales for the hotel. You will be responsible for building and developing the hotel's sales and marketing leadership in your assigned property. Through your effective management, passion, and enthusiasm you will be able to successfully inspire and coach your team and ensure marketing brand standards are fully respected.
You will work closely with specialist teams to implement the marketing and PR strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions as well as be involved in analyzing competitor marketing and PR activities. Together with specialist teams, to establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners as well as to maintain a consistent brand image throughout all sales, PR, marketing, and MarCom activities. With the specialist teams, implement the brand strategy and brand standards at a hotel level and implement corrective measures if necessary.
