For more information visit RegentSantaMonicaBeach.com. **Job Summary:** As the Director of Sales and Marketing, you'll be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, overseeing all facets of sales, marketing, public relations, and events for our esteemed five-star luxury resort. In this strategic role, you'll be responsible for revenue strategy, P&L oversight, budget planning, advertising, and business development. You will lead the creation and execution of innovative, brand-aligned strategies to drive room night production, elevate our market positioning, and maximize total resort revenue. Your focus will be on delivering an unparalleled luxury experience that exceeds guest expectations. With a commitment to excellence and results, you'll cultivate high-performing teams, strengthen ownership and stakeholder relations, and shape a long-term commercial vision that enhances asset value and reinforces the resort's reputation as a world-class destination. **A little bit about your day:** Reporting to the General Manager, every day is different, but you'll mostly be: + Leading the development and execution of integrated sales, marketing, and events strategies to drive revenue and optimize asset performance. + Overseeing the resort’s annual and multi-year commercial plans in collaboration with on-property and regional leadership. + Aligning commercial initiatives with brand standards and market segment priorities to enhance positioning and profitability. + Partnering with revenue and commercial teams to implement pricing and forecasting strategies across rooms, F&B, spa, and ancillary outlets. + Analyzing market trends, booking patterns, and demand drivers to grow net revenue and refine business mix. + Directing and approving the overarching marketing vision, including digital, B2B, PR, and social media campaigns, ensuring a strong ROI and optimal funnel performance. + Tracking campaign performance and making executive-level adjustments to marketing tactics and budgets based on comprehensive analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs). + Approving pricing strategies for group and transient business based on forecasted demand and market intelligence. + Managing departmental budgets and expenses while maintaining a focus on financial efficiency. + Staying ahead of competitive activity and industry shifts to identify new opportunities. + Executing sales incentive programs to drive team performance. + Recruiting, developing, and retaining top-performing commercial talent through mentorship and career planning. + Supporting strategic sales efforts in key feeder markets to strengthen brand presence. + Fostering strong relationships with ownership, asset managers, and global/regional sales partners. + Ensuring brand consistency and maximizing commercial tools through training and collaboration. **What we need from you:** + Minimum 7 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. + Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field; advanced coursework is a plus. + Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams in fast-paced environments. + Expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, and strategic partnerships. + Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, ROI analysis, and revenue management. + Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Opera, Concerto, and CRM systems is preferred. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results independently. + Performs other duties as assigned. + Willingness and ability to travel. + Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. **What you can expect from us:** The annual pay range for this role is **$180,000 to $210,000** . This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at **Regent Santa Monica Beach** . This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s Bonus Plan. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
