DIRECTOR OF SALES

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is looking for a Director of Sales

As Director of Sales you are responsible for the Sales Marketing team consisting of a, Senior Sales Manager, two Sales Executives, Sales Coordinator and a Marketing Coordinator.

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is a 4 star hotel with 330 Rooms, 6 event spaces and FB facilities, striving for uncomplicated stays for our guests.

Responsibilities

· You will be responsible for the complete Sales Marketing Team

· Client acquisition, sales calls, sales blitzes and identifying new business is in your nature.

· You participate in relevant road-shows, fairs and other relevant events

· You will be also responsible for account management to make sure we remain the preferred hotels for all our clients

· You are responsible for the short and long term strategic planning

· You will work on the yearly business plan and are responsible for your departments’ budget

· You monitor and evaluate local, national, international trends and competition to make sure we can offer all our guests and clients what they need

· You will establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and continuously explore new opportunities

· You are responsible for maximizing revenue in the most profitable way in line with the set targets.

· You make sure we organize memorable events in the hotel

Qualifications

· You have great language skills in English and preferably in Dutch as well

· You are pro-active, customer focused, result driven and able to motivate the team to exceed the targets

· You are eligible to work in the Netherlands

· You have experience leading a Sales team

Preferred qualifications

· You have at least two years of work experience in a similar position with a strong focus on the corporate segment and experience leading a team

· You have great computer skills and preferably PMS system knowledge as well (we use OPERA Cloud)
