Horton, Inc.*is currently looking for an _*Director of Sales*_. The right candidate will manage all sales activity, escrow closings and representation to the public. Manage Sales projections. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities*include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Motivate and coordinate between the department of Sales, Escrow, Marketing, Construction, Product Development, Land Acquisition, and Mortgage * Resolve problems and/or issues pertaining to any department * Meet or beat set sales goals * Create new incentives for neighborhoods * Enforce company policies * Recruit and hire future sales representatives. Train and motivate the sales force * Perform a competitive analysis on product, features, and neighborhoods/amenities * Work with the Marketing Coordinator/Manager and Division Manager on advertising * Work with the agents on all marketing promotions * Perform realtor outreach (realtor breakfasts, lunches, office presentations) * Oversee grand openings and new phases * Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company *Supervisory Responsibilities* Directly manages two or more employees in the Sales & Marketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. *Education and/or Experience* * Fifth-year college or university program certificate * Six to eight years of related experience and/or training * Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license * Provide attention to detail and manage multiple responsibilities * Possess exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills * Proficiency with MS Office and email *Preferred Qualifications* * Exercise initiative and be proactive * Bilingual a plus Come join a winning team with a Fortune 500 company!
