Job Title: Director of Sales – Agricultural Equipment

Reports To: Senior Vice President or Chief Commercial Officer

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sales to lead sales operations for a manufacturer of agricultural equipment, specializing in tillage and planting solutions. This leadership role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and managing a high-performing sales team across North America. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, strong dealer network experience, and a passion for supporting farmers with innovative and reliable equipment.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a sales strategy focused on expanding adoption of tillage and planting equipment across key agricultural regions.Lead, coach, and manage a team of regional sales managers and representatives.Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and large-scale farming operations.Collaborate with product development, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with product launches and customer needs.Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.Represent the company at agricultural trade shows, field demonstrations, and industry events.Monitor sales performance metrics and ensure targets are met or exceeded.Support the rollout of new technologies and equipment lines, including precision planting systems and advanced tillage tools.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).Minimum 10 years of experience in sales leadership within the agricultural equipment industry.Proven track record of managing regional sales teams and achieving revenue targets.Strong understanding of tillage and planting equipment, farming practices, and seasonal sales cycles.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Willingness to travel extensively across North America.What We OfferOpportunity to lead a high-impact sales organization in a growing segment of agriculture.Collaborative and innovative work environment.Competitive compensation and benefits package.Professional development and career advancement opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $200000.00 - $250000.00/yr.
