Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to lead and drive the commercial strategy for two exceptional Hunter Valley properties Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat.

This senior leadership role oversees revenue growth across diverse market segments including MICE, Corporate, Leisure, Health & Wellbeing, Golf, and Food & Beverage. You will play a key role in shaping the long-term success and positioning of two distinct yet complementary destinations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver annual sales strategies in partnership with the Cluster General ManagerLead total account management across all key market segmentsInspire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales and conference teamBuild strong, long-term client relationships to drive repeat and incremental businessRepresent both properties at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunitiesAnalyse sales performance, market trends, and reporting to inform strategyCollaborate closely with the Commercial Sales team to maximise market exposure and revenue

QualificationsProven experience in a Director of Sales or similar senior role within hospitalityExpertise in managing complex sales segments across multiple propertiesStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsOutstanding communication and negotiation abilitiesKnowledge of revenue and distribution strategiesPassion for customer experience and team development
