Position Summary - The Director of Rooms leads all Rooms Division operations, driving exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and alignment with Hyatt brand standards. This role partners with hotel leadership to deliver service excellence across Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services while building high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Experience

• Deliver seamless arrival and departure experiences in line with brand standards.

• Foster a guest-centric culture to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and service recovery.

• Partner across departments to ensure a consistent end-to-end guest journey.

Operations

• Oversee daily Rooms Division operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance.

• Optimize room readiness, staffing, and service flow to meet demand.

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance.

Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop Rooms Division leaders and teams.

• Promote Hyatt’s purpose and values through visible leadership and engagement.

• Support talent development and succession planning with HR.

Financial Performance

• Manage budgets, labor productivity, and cost controls.

• Leverage data and reporting to drive performance and informed decisions.

Quality Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Hyatt standards, local regulations, and safety requirements.

• Partner with Engineering and Security to protect assets and guest wellbeing.

8–10 years’ Rooms Division experience; 3–5 years in senior leadership.Strong expertise in Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.Experience in a luxury/international hotel brand preferred.Proven leadership, financial, and service excellence capabilities.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related fieldUAE experience advantageous.8–10 years’ Rooms Division experience; 3–5 years in senior leadership.Strong expertise in Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.Experience in a luxury/international hotel brand preferred.Proven leadership, financial, and service excellence capabilities.Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related fieldUAE experience advantageous.
