Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting a Director of Revenue Management to join the resort. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 64 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Unmatched amenities include a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness center, a destination dining experience by José Andrés, two pools, and a Beach Club catering to the who’s who of Miami. **Position Summary**
The **Director of Revenue Management** will be responsible for maximizing overall hotel revenue across rooms, food & beverage, and event spaces. This leader will design and implement **competitive pricing and distribution strategies** , ensuring Andaz Miami Beach outperforms its market rivals.
Key responsibilities include:
· Driving topline revenue and profitability through strategic inventory management
· Producing accurate forecasts to set ambitious yet achievable hotel goals
· Supporting sales & marketing initiatives with data-driven insights
· Mentoring and developing revenue analysts, reservations, and operations managers
· Overseeing reservations and upsell programs to optimize guest spend
**Position Responsibilities/ Essential Functions**
· Analyze short- and long-term forecasting, analyze trends in group inventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, product line and strategic sales goals.
· Analyze and monitor marketing channels, key and other account production. Ensure that all major channels of distribution effectively support the hotel and maintain rate parity.
· Conduct a weekly strategy meeting to evaluate pricing strategies and availability control.
· Update all channels of distribution as needed with rate or inventory restrictions.
· Receive all definite and tentative group bookings and provide the General Manager with qualified analysis of how each booking will impact occupancy, average rate and rooms profit over the dates in question.
· Work with each department to develop property-specific strategies to ensure positive growth.
· Establish appropriate goals and benchmarks to effectively measure performance.
· Monitor and analyze the competition weekly through competitive shops, internet, news reports to identify selling strategies and emerging trends.
· Work to drive appropriate market mix and segmentation for the resort to maximize revenue, ADR, and REVPAR index within Competitive Set
· Lead resort to deliver best in class results when compared to luxury lifestyle comp. set. KPI’s to include: Total Revenue, ADR, REVPAR, RMI Index, Business Mix and TREVPAR
· Explore and provide variations in the market mix, which would stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs.
· Work on all Revenue Management projects as requested e.g. implementing formal End of Month reporting process at each hotel, providing roll up reporting for corporate users and the brand team, etc.
· Develop and implement succession planning for Revenue Management talent.
· Management of OTA Extranets
· Continuously audit content on hotel website and OTA partners providing feedback to Marketing Team
· Partner with Digital and Field Marketing Team assessing strategy and appropriate spend to maximize financial returns and exposure
· Lead, hire, train and coach Reservations Agents
· Perform other related tasks as required.

**Qualifications:**

· Undergraduate degree in Hospitality, Business or Finance
· Three Years of Experience as a Director of Revenue Management at a luxury lifestyle resort
· Deep Understanding of Miami Beach Market, Current Trends and Pricing Strategy
· Strong organization and analytical skills
· Intermediate or expert skill level in the use of the Microsoft Office Excel and related data management systems.
· Technically strong in managing systems such as IDEAS G3, OPERA, RMT, Reserve, Envision and Cognos.
· Skilled in delivering effective presentations to senior leadership and ownership partners
· Prior Experience with managing revenue in a Forbes Four or Five Star rated property preferred
