Director of Revenue
To assist in preparing for the weekly and monthly rooms occupancy and average rate forecast through the use of Business Intelligence and Revenue Management applications (IDeaS software where available) control management, pricingTo provide tactical consultation on effective revenue generating processes through Spirit / Reserve inventory usage, rate control management, pricing and distribution.To assist in ensuring distribution of inventory through all channels, in line with Hyatt’s Distribution strategy and closely monitor business shifts between channels (Channel Management).To assist in ensuring optimal inventory controls are in place for FIT / Group and for the hotel as a whole.To actively participate in the Weekly Yield / Revenue, presenting the upcoming revenue management tactics in place and new recommendations of tactical nature.To monitor pricing strategies in the context of competitor strategies and market fluctuations.To assist in ensuring and understanding of the Daily Pricing Tactics in place (DPS), to increase the hotel’s overall profitability and to review and assist in implementing new pricing tactics where necessary (DPS deployment).To liaise with Director of Communication/Communications Manager to track past offers and promotions.To assist in maximising revenue and yield through business trend analysis, highlighting areas of opportunity and ensuring delivery and maintenance of optimum data mining, revenue management, pricing and distribution tactics on an ongoing basis.To assist in depth business analysis of each revenue generating department including Food Beverage department and Spa, making recommendations concerning the ideal customer market / base and promotional tactics in liaison with the Outlet Manager / Director.Assist in ensuring the guidelines for data collection, data input, data cleaning and data usage are being followed throughout the hotel and conduct regular training to the relevant departments.Preparing for the Monthly Marketing Meeting – the forum to discuss the hotel’s future sales and marketing tactics and strategies.
