Job DescriptionThe Director of Revenue for Anantara the Marker Dublin hotel will report directly to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Area Director of Revenue and will be responsible for maximizing revenues, market share and profit for the hotel. This is a hotel based role and will be working from the Sales and Events office.
Specific duties
To create and implement strategic pricing.To define pricing and yield guidelines for rates, room types, and customer segments.To define the ideal business mix and channel mix strategy, define overbooking and protection strategy, define Crew & TO optimal allotments.Planning, budgeting & forecasting
To build property revenue strategy & budget proposal and prepare forecast based on the NH guidelines.To validate RMS forecast and ensure corrective action to improve the forecast.Daily revenue management optimization
To review demand calendars, convention and city event calendars and sets up events & seasonality databases.To perform daily pick-up analysis, reviews yield system forecast, competition analysis and price positioning.To effectively apply pricing & restrictions in line with set strategy to maximize profits: rate open/closing, rate level and short-term sales & promotion action plan design & execution.To be responsible for group quotations and related displacement analysis.Performance, demand & competition analysis
To carefully monitor market performance, RGI, channel performance.To follow all relevant developments of the marketplace, values impact of demand generators, note changes in supply, behaviour in feeder markets etc.To keep up to date knowledge of main competitors, product knowledge, pricing, business mix, etc.To ensure quality of data is checked on a regular basis.Communication
To communicate strategic recommendations to key commercial stake holders, e.g., Regional Director of Revenue and GM, and ensures buy-in and commitment from all involved.To hold regular reviews with key stakeholders.To participate actively in RM team collaboration & validation meetings.To work closely with the Revenue Coordinator.To communicate forecast & strategy.QualificationsRequirements
Must already be based in a luxury hotel with a minimum of 2 years revenue experience.
Organized and methodical.
Highly quantitative analytical skills.
Strategic thinking and mindset with a Commercial sense.
Strong influencing and communication skills.
Proven track record of revenue growth in previous hotels.
Must currently have the right to work in Ireland / EU full time.
Full time, hotel based role 5 days a week.
