The right candidate will manage the Purchasing Department and is responsible for all sourcing for equipment, goods and services needed to fulfill the division business plan established by the Division President. Ensures efficient and strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, seek best possible contracts and find most profitable suppliers and vendors.

Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies. Search and prepare alternative strategies in case a disruption occursManage bid process for architectural plans to subcontractors and vendors ensuring timelines and budgets are followedTrack and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness. Take immediate action to implement improvementsCraft negotiation strategies, inform and update Purchasing Department personnel to close deals with optimal termsPartner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation is adhered to and followedForecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. React quickly to adjustPerform periodic cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarkingContinually assess, manage and mitigate risksSeek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. Review performance of all vendors and subcontractorsPromote Purchasing Department relationships and partnerships with trade partners, ensuring communication and accountabilityDrive Purchasing process to ensure the most cost-effective product.
