Overview

CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. Included in the S&P 500 Index and the NASDAQ 100, CoStar Group is on a mission to digitize the world’s real estate, empowering people to discover properties, insights, and connections that improve their businesses and lives.

With over 35 years of experience, we’ve built a unique perspective and language that has become standard in our industry. We continue to refine and innovate, delivering value to our clients, employees, and investors by equipping the brightest minds with the best resources.

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead and scale the development and delivery for CoStar Real Estate Manager (“REM”) and Visual Lease (“VL”). These products currently serve 2,000+ companies of all sizes, with considerable market share of enterprise and mid-market businesses, providing them with solutions to complete customer problems in lease administration, lease accounting, transaction management and corporate real estate operations. This role will play a key part in integrating and expanding both products into the CoStar product suite.

As Director of Product Management, you will lead the strategy, execution, and growth of multiple product lines in a dynamic SaaS environment. You’ll guide a team of Strategic Product Managers to deliver innovative products that delight customers, differentiate us in the market, and drive measurable business impact.

This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role—ideal for a product leader who can think holistically across complex systems, inspire and develop a talented team, and partner effectively with executives and cross-functional peers. It demands a blend of strategic insight, operational rigor, and people leadership, with the ability to act as a player-coach when needed. Your leadership will set the tone for product excellence, seamless collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a full-time onsite position based in our Metropark, NJ, New York City, NY or Atlanta, GA offices.

Responsibilities

Strategic Product Leadership

Define and drive the long-term vision and strategy across multiple product lines, balancing innovation, scalability, and customer value.

Collaborate with senior leadership to align product goals with business objectives and represent the Product organization in strategic planning forums.

Own the cross-portfolio roadmap, ensuring coherence between individual product strategies and the company’s broader mission.

Champion data-informed decision-making, ensuring every initiative is tied to measurable customer and business outcomes.

Team Development & Mentorship

Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and excellence.

Provide hands-on guidance in product discovery, delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

Champion modern product management practices, encouraging continuous learning and a growth mindset across the team.

Customer & Market Insights

Engage deeply with customers, partners, and internal experts to uncover insights and validate product direction.

Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics, translating insights into actionable product strategies.

Ensure our products consistently deliver meaningful, differentiated value that drives adoption and loyalty.

Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with Feature Product Management, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Alliances, Sales, and Customer Success to deliver exceptional end-to-end experiences.

Ensure execution aligns with business priorities, technical feasibility, and UX standards.

Drive go-to-market readiness, including positioning, launch planning, and post-launch feedback loops to inform continuous improvement and ensure smooth delivery.

Complex Systems Ownership

Develop a deep understanding of our complex product ecosystem and data architecture.

Lead efforts to simplify workflows, improve interoperability, and unlock new value for customers.

Advocate for scalable, secure, and intuitive experiences across the product portfolio.

The ideal candidate is an experienced product leader who loves building and scaling great teams. They have a proven track record of managing multiple product lines, inspiring collaboration, and driving meaningful business results. They think strategically but stay grounded in execution, thriving in complex, data-driven environments where long-term vision is balanced with short-term impact.

Our ideal candidate is a strong communicator who builds trust across functions and levels — from engineers to executives — and knows how to bring people together around a shared goal. With a deep experience in SaaS product development and modern product management practices, they would be passionate about solving real customer problems through thoughtful, scalable solutions.

If you’re energized by the challenge of creating products that make a tangible difference in lease management, accounting, and real estate operations, this is the role for you.
