Job Description1. Strategic Planning
• Develop and implement an annual PR & Marketing strategy for the resort, covering pre opening launch and post-opening positioning.
• Prepare and manage departmental budget; monitor spend and ensure cost-effective campaigns with measurable ROI.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and trends.
2. Branding & Communications
• Define and communicate the resort’s brand identity and USPs across all channels.
• Ensure all marketing collateral, online presence, and guest touchpoints are in line with NH Collection brand guidelines and work closely with the Minor HO team.
• Lead the creation of high-quality photo, video, and design assets for use in campaigns, digital platforms, and trade activities.
3. Public Relations & Media
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional media, influencers, bloggers, and PR agencies.
• Draft and distribute press releases, organize media visits, and act as spokesperson for the resort when required.
• Monitor press coverage, manage crisis communication, and safeguard brand reputation. 4. Digital & Advertising
• Oversee digital marketing efforts including website, SEO/SEM, social media, CRM, and e commerce channels.
• Manage online reputation through platforms such as TripAdvisor, OTAs, and review sites.
• Plan and execute consumer and trade advertising across digital and print media. 5. Partnerships & Activations
• Identify and manage collaborations with luxury brands, tourism boards, airlines, and key partners to maximize exposure.
• Support planning of on-property events, activations, and sponsorships to enhance visibility.
6. Leadership & Team Management
• Recruit, train, and lead the PR & Marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration.
• Manage external agencies, vendors, and photographers to ensure deliverables meet brand and budget standards.
• Work closely with Sales, Revenue, and Operations to ensure marketing initiatives support business objectives.
Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in Marketing & PR, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within luxury hospitality, ideally in Maldives.
• Proven expertise in digital marketing, media relations, and brand positioning.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages (e.g. Chinese, Russian, Arabic) are an advantage.
• Experience in pre-opening luxury resorts/hotels is highly desirable.
