We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Performance and Succession join our team. This senior-level role is responsible for shaping and executing strategies to enhance leadership capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement within our retail organization. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader who can design and implement comprehensive performance development programs while driving organizational change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Talent and Succession Planning:Implement succession planning tools and methodologies to identify high-potential employees.In partnership with our HRBPs, manage a robust talent planning process throughout the organization.Ensure a diverse and inclusive approach that supports our talent goals.Performance Management:Fully execute our performance management process and cycle across the organization.Provide tools and materials that support leaders’ ability to set strong performance goals that are aligned with overall business goals.Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Leadership DevelopmentDevelop high potential leadership development programs that help strengthen the bench of leaders and emerging leaders in the organization.Management & Leadership:Lead a team of highly skilled talent managers and specialists to be trusted advisors at every level in the organization. Metrics and Evaluation:Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of leadership and organizational development programs.Regularly assess program outcomes and adjust strategies as needed to achieve desired results.Budget Management:Select and manage all external vendor partners as well as effectively manage the budgets and costs associated with each program.Ensure cost-effective utilization of resources while maintaining program quality.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.7 years of proven experience in leadership development, organizational development, or a related field within a retail or similar industry.Strong understanding of leadership competencies, talent assessment, and succession planning.Exceptional communication, coaching, and facilitation skills required.Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.Proven track record in designing and implementing successful learning & training programs.Change management expertise and experience driving cultural transformation.Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive decision-making.Budget management experience.If you are a visionary leader who is passionate about developing the next generation of retail leaders and driving organizational change, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
