Job Description
The Director of Operations will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to enhance productivity and meet company objectives. This role requires expertise in budgeting, financial management, process improvement, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless operations across various departments.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement plans to improve productivity and achieve company goals.Monitor performance metrics, manage budgets, and optimize resource allocation.Analyze and refine business processes, such as production, supply chain, and quality control.Supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff across various departments.Coordinate daily activities across departments, including HR, sales, and marketing.Manage external partnerships and supplier relationships.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.Proven expertise in process improvement and cross-functional coordination.Strong operational management, customer service, and management skills.Experience in customer support.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in a senior management or operations role, typically 5–10+ years.Bachelor’s degree in business management, administration, or a related field.Strong team-building, mentoring, and communication skills.Ability to analyze complex data and financial reports to drive decisions.Strong problem-solving skills and judgment for handling operational issues.Work Environment
This position is 100% on-site, located in Wilmington, DE. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration across various departments and engagement with external partners. The position offers an opportunity for conversion to hire after 8 months.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, DE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
