Description We are looking for a highly motivated Director of Operations to join a boutique accounting firm in Denver, Colorado. This role is pivotal in enhancing firm-wide processes, leading teams, and ensuring exceptional client service delivery to high-net-worth individuals. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, hands-on leadership, and a drive to build scalable operational infrastructure that supports the firm’s growth.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute operational strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, productivity, and client satisfaction across the firm.
• Analyze existing workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that optimize service delivery.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to establish growth initiatives, performance metrics, and long-term operational goals.
• Oversee and mentor administrative and support staff, fostering engagement and ensuring effective resource allocation.
• Define clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability measures for team members to drive operational success.
• Manage firm resources, including budget oversight for investments and project execution.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and oversee the implementation of systems that support accounting workflows and reporting.
• Lead the adoption and modernization of technology tools, such as accounting software and workflow management platforms.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to accounting practices and sensitive client data.
• Work alongside legal and compliance teams to mitigate operational risks and uphold industry standards. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business operations, preferably within a detail-oriented services setting.
• Proven track record of implementing operational strategies that drive efficiency and growth.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.
• Expertise in budget management and resource allocation.
• Proficiency in negotiating vendor contracts and managing vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with technology platforms, including accounting software and workflow management tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of compliance regulations related to accounting and client data.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on improving processes and workflows.
