**Position Overview**
The **Director of Operations** is a key executive leader responsible for overseeing the **Rooms Division and Food & Beverage operations** at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek. This role ensures operational excellence, drives revenue performance, supports departmental leaders, and maintains the resort’s luxury standards. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and a genuine passion for service.

**Key Responsibilities**
+ Lead all daily operations of all areas within **Rooms** and **Food & Beverage departments** .
+ Develop and execute short- and long-term operational strategies to meet service, quality, and financial goals.
+ Oversee financial performance metrics including room revenue, F&B revenues, rate variance, and labor costs.
+ Drive strategies for maximizing occupancy, revenue per available room (RevPAR), and average daily rate (ADR).
+ Facilitate weekly operations meetings and monthly P&L reviews with department heads.
+ Ensure smooth execution of large-scale events, peak seasons, and VIP stays.
+ Hire, mentor, and develop department leaders while fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
+ Ensure consistent implementation of Hyatt brand standards, Hyatt Ways of Working, safety protocols, and guest service procedures.
+ Act as the property leader in the absence of the General Manager.

**The starting salary for this role is $116,900. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.**

**Qualifications:**
+ **Minimum 6 years of progressive hotel operations experience** , typically within Hyatt.
+ **Minimum 5 years in senior executive operational leadership** , with a strong background in **Rooms Division leadership** and **extensive F&B leadership experience** .
+ Previous experience in a **luxury or resort environment with strongly preferred** .
+ Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.
+ Proven ability to lead high-performing, cross-functional teams.
+ Strong financial acumen with experience managing complex departmental budgets.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Hyatt systems is a plus.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and influence.
