Medical Facilities of America (MFA)—a trusted leader in post-acute, transitional rehab, and skilled nursing services across Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Delaware, and Pennsylvania—is now accepting applications for its Clinical Leadership Academy. This program is designed to recruit, train, and prepare future Directors of Nursing to lead clinical excellence across our centers.
About the Program
The Clinical Leadership Academy is a paid, full-time opportunity and is MFA’s strategic pipeline for developing elite clinical leaders. The program is divided into two phases:
Phase One: Foundational Training (4 weeks)
A rigorous, company-designed training program delivered at our Roanoke, Virginia home office. This intensive phase focuses on modern leadership strategies and core clinical management practices essential for DON success.
Phase Two: Residency Placement (Full-Time)
Following training, participants begin a full-time, hands-on residency in one of our centers. This immersive experience is designed to further leadership development in a real-world setting, supported by experienced mentors.
Candidate Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Previous clinical experience in long-term care
Willingness to relocate based on organizational needs
Commitment to professional growth and leadership in nursing
