Responsibilities

Direct development and implementation of emergency services policies, procedures and strategy.

Develop departmental goals, plans and standards.Plan, organize and direct all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.Prepare budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding. Coordinate and direct internal/external audits.Administer and evaluate all clinical activities including care plan development, service level determination and complaint management.
Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing reuqired.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.

Work Experience:

5 years of experience required.10 years of experience preferred.2 years of leadership or management experience required.5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences Emergency room leadership experience is required Trauma expereince is preferred
