The Woodlands of Liberty is seeking a compassionate and professional Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing the nursing and clinical care operations in our assisted living facility. This leadership role ensures the highest standard of resident care, while managing the nursing team, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. The Director of Nursing works closely with residents, families, and staff to promote a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment that meets each resident's medical and personal care needs. What You'll Do:

Supports the philosophy, mission, commitment, vision and values of The Woodlands

Manages, Directs, and evaluates LPNs and STNAs/caregivers

Administers medications and treatments accurately and timely.

Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.

Promotes interpersonal relationships and develops staff morale.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members

Support a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for residents

Qualifications:

Valid LPN or RN license in the state of Ohio

Current CPR certification (or willing to obtain)

Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or geriatric nursing preferred

Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
