Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Director of Nursing who will direct overall operational functions for assigned areas. This role involves setting priorities for data collection in performance improvement programs aligned with organizational goals, projecting annual volumes and clinical service needs, and managing staffing efficiencies. As an expert in patient care management, you will facilitate and participate in teams aimed at optimizing patient care delivery systems. Effective communication across departments is crucial, as is developing annual staff development goals and conducting routine staff appraisals.
ResponsibilitiesDirect overall operational functions for assigned areas.Set priorities for data collection for performance improvement programs.Project volumes, needs, and clinical services annually.Justify and correct variances in projected needs.Direct personnel activities related to skills competency and staffing policy adherence.Function as an expert in clinical area patient care management.Facilitate and participate in teams to plan and evaluate patient care delivery.Ensure effective ongoing communication and information sharing inter/intra departmentally.Develop annual staff development goals and conduct routine staff appraisals.Essential SkillsManagement experience in acute care settings.Provider/RN License in MD.Expertise in labor and delivery.NRP certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsMaster's degree in Nursing or related field, with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.Five years of relevant clinical experience.Three years of management experience.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $170000.00/yr.
