Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; Masters degree is a plus 5+ years of experience in charter school operations (either school- or network-level); experience with new school start-up or launching new campuses is a plus. Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional workstreams. A systems mindset: you see the big picture, but sweat the details. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service orientation—responsive, patient, and solution-driven. High proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets; comfortable using data to drive decisions and improvements. Strong problem-solving skills. Able to come with a plan but pivot as the situation dictates. Experience with school platforms such as PowerSchool, Clever, ParentSquare, and/or Tableau strongly preferred. Knowledge of compliance and reporting requirements in CT, PA, or NY is highly desired. Must live in the greater NYC area and be able to occasionally travel to schools in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Philadelphia, and Stamford as needed.
