Director of Membership Sales

General Purpose:
To direct a successful marketing plan targeting membership sales of new member joins to grow the Club; to oversee the development of Member Retention programming as well as provide input and direction for future Club initiatives for the betterment of the Club that will provide opportunities for expansion of the membership base.
Essential Duties:
Develops and leads a membership marketing program designed to increase total membership count and membership dues revenue. Initiates the development and implementation of advertising and promotional campaigns designed to generate membership sales leads. Develops and ensures proper maintenance of an accurate contact management system including call records, database and activity management. Prepares monthly membership reports for Ocean Edge General Manager, Troon Golf and Owners Maintains and develops strong relationships with current members to encourage club participation and atmosphere. Effectively communicates with management staff and associates to increase knowledge of membership goals, membership satisfaction and membership retention. Networks with community partners including, but not limited to: Chamber of Commerce, Local realtors, business leaders and corporate executives. Actively developing a prospect data base for membership sales. Provide insight on future development for the Club and to oversee Capital projects as needed to ensure timely completion. Works closely with Member Relations and Communications staff to provide timely communications, have a social calendar in place to enhance the member experience, support the Ambassador Program for new member recognition and transition into the Club.Education / Experience:
Business & Marketing bachelor’s degree Minimum five years sales experienceEmployment & Compensation Package:
