This position serves as Chief Information Officer and a key partner in using data to drive educational goals. Key Responsibilities Include: Data Leadership : + Serves as Chief Information Officer; oversees the student information system; ensures timely, accurate reporting to NYSED; and manages compliance with state and federal requirements. Instructional Technology : + Leads the adoption and use of instructional technology platforms; guides development of the K-12 Instructional Technology Curriculum; and ensures technology supports classroom instruction and district goals. Staff Training & Support : + Provides training and technical assistance to administrators, teachers, and staff; supports professional learning communities with data analysis; and troubleshoots database and platform issues. + Conducts classroom observations and provides instructional feedback to teachers. Assessment & Reporting : + Oversees all aspects of NYS assessments, including test administration, supervision of assessment platforms, and coordination of scoring. + Generates reports for the Superintendent, Board of Education, and accountability purposes.
