Director of Housekeeping
Job Description

Our Director of Housekeeping is responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the Housekeeping division. 

Key Responsibilities:

To organise and maintain a high degree of excellence / maintenance in guest rooms, suites, corridors, fire exits, stairways, service rooms and public areas of the hotel.Oversee smooth operations of the Housekeeping department, fostering strong internal and external communication.Ensure that all company brand standards have been implemented.Uphold the hotel’s reputation as an ultra luxury property by exceeding guest and management expectations.Work closely with other departments in a supportive and flexible manner to ensure overall hotel success.Contribute to the collective commitment of a unique guest experience, to create a sense of place.Handle guests' concerns and comments and find a proper resolution to ensure guest satisfaction. Identify training needs and conduct on-the-job training in coordination with relevant teams to enhance associate performance.Qualifications & Skills: Minimum five years’ experience in a similar capacity for a luxury or ultra- luxury hospitality is preferred.Fluency in German or English is preferred; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.Proven experience in leading and managing a team effectively.Must be able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy; prioritize, organize and follow-up abilities.
