**Job Purpose:** Coordinates orientation for Directors of Health Services following a 4-6 week orientation plan that includes training, shadowing, monitoring, coordinating peer to peer relationships and skilled nursing care in line with State regulations to ensure readiness for quality care delivery. **Key Responsibilities:** • Conduct orientation sessions for new Directors of Health Services (DHS), ensuring they understand the facility's policies, procedures, and standards of care. • Provide hands-on training and supervision to new DHSs during their initial period of employment. • Serve as a preceptor, offering guidance, support, and feedback to DHSs as they transition into their roles. • Collaborate with the facility Administrator and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement training programs. • Monitor and evaluate the progress of new DHSs, providing additional training and support as needed. • Maintain accurate records of training activities and progress reports for each new DHS. • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to DHS education and training. **Minimum Education Required:** • Nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or graduate of an accredited/approved RN program. **Minimum Experience Required:** • Minimum of one (3) years of RN experience. • Experience in training and precepting new nurses is preferred. **Licensure/Certification Required:** • Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. • Current CPR certification. **Additional Qualifications:** • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. • Commitment to ongoing professional development and education. **Family Makes Us Stronger.** Our family, your family, one family.
