Working closely with senior leadership, this position sets the direction for risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, environmental sustainability, and global program consistency. This role requires relocation to the Omaha area, with a strong presence at key sites and close collaboration with diverse teams worldwide.
ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage a global strategy for EH&S aligned with corporate goals and sustainability metricsLead cross-functional collaboration to address compliance concerns and ensure risk mitigation plans are executedDrive cultural transformation initiatives, empowering teams to identify and solve EH&S challenges at every levelSpearhead training development and implementation, including safety systems, procedures, and site-specific programmingMonitor and interpret environmental regulations, overseeing audits, permitting, and corrective action planningOversee deployment of EH&S technology systems and analytics to enable data-driven decision-makingSupport acquisition due diligence and integration from an environmental risk and compliance standpointProvide thought leadership and coaching to global EH&S staff, ensuring consistent practices and professional growthCoordinate internal and external reporting, and ensure timely submissions and clear communicationQualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree in a safety, engineering, or environmental disciplineAt least 15 years of progressive experience in manufacturing environments, with a focus on safety leadershipMinimum 5 years managing environmental compliance and sustainability programsAbility to travel both within the U.S. and internationally—estimated at 25–40%Demonstrated success in building high-performing EH&S teams and embedding a proactive safety cultureBenefits and PerksCompetitive base salaryMedical, dental, and vision benefitsPaid holidays and PTOOngoing professional development and leadership trainingYour New OrganizationJoin a global manufacturing powerhouse known for innovation, performance, and commitment to sustainability.
