We are looking for a Finance Professional that is looking for a challenging and hands on leadership role. This role will be pivotal in daily operations for financial planning, CAPEX budgeting, P&L planning along with forecasting budgets for a well-known, growing company in the Chattanooga, TN area.

Position Overview

The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial operations within the manufacturing company, ensuring financial stability, strategic planning, and compliance with industry regulations. This role involves managing budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and investment strategies to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Cost Management: Oversee cost control measures, pricing strategies, and financial risk assessments.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to upper management and stakeholders.

- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, and internal controls.

- Investment & Capital Management: Evaluate investment opportunities and manage capital expenditures.

- Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize financial performance.

- Leadership & Team Development: Manage and mentor finance personnel, fostering a high-performance culture.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.

- CPA required.

- 5+ years of experience in financial leadership, ideally within a commercial/ industrial environment.

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial modeling, and ERP systems.

- Expertise in financial regulations, tax compliance, and risk management.

- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $165000.00/yr.
