Responsibilities: • Develop and oversee comprehensive financial planning processes, including annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and short-term estimates, to enhance decision-making and efficiency. • Create and refine financial models to support strategic plans, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning efforts. • Prepare and deliver impactful financial presentations for executive leadership, the board of directors, and external stakeholders. • Analyze financial performance against forecasts and plans, conducting variance analyses and partnering with business leaders to achieve organizational goals. • Design and implement dynamic dashboards, management reporting tools, and key performance indicators to monitor financial and operational performance effectively. • Generate detailed sales reports on a daily and weekly basis, providing actionable insights to drive business growth. • Collaborate with business leaders to assess emerging trends, identify risks and opportunities, and propose innovative solutions. • Optimize FP& A processes by enhancing coordination, streamlining workflows, and improving forecasting accuracy. • Partner with data engineers to implement advanced systems for automated reporting and enhanced data visualization. • Lead and mentor an FP& A team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving business results and increasing company valuation. Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning, accounting, or finance, with at least 4 years managing direct reports; prior experience leading an FP& A function is preferred. • Proven expertise in strategic financial planning over a medium- to long-term horizon, including 3-5 year plans. • Demonstrated ability to conduct periodic performance reviews, including variance analysis and tracking of initiatives. • Exceptional presentation and communication skills to convey financial insights and results effectively. • Advanced analytical and quantitative decision-making capabilities, with the ability to interpret data and provide concise recommendations. • Strong proficiency in corporate finance and business modeling, including developing business plans and capital proposals. • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; advanced degrees or certifications are highly desirable. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with expert-level skills in Excel and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with financial reporting tools such as Hyperion, Looker, or Sage Intacct.
