The Role

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Finance to join our Executive Leadership Team. This role is pivotal in shaping the hotel’s long‑term financial strategy while ensuring strong day‑to‑day financial performance. The Director of Finance will oversee all financial operations, safeguard the hotel’s assets, and provide strategic insights that drive revenue growth and profitability. This leader will collaborate closely with sales, operations, and marketing teams to ensure financial alignment across all departments.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Finance will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities

Lead the hotel’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.Oversee all accounting functions, including revenue recognition, cost control, financial reporting, and compliance with internal and external audit standards.Develop and implement financial strategies that maximize overall hotel profitability across rooms, food beverage, and ancillary revenue streams.Provide timely financial analysis and insights to support operational decision‑making and long‑term strategic planning.Ensure effective cash‑flow management, capital expenditure planning, and asset protection.Partner with department heads to optimize financial performance and ensure adherence to budgetary targets.Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with corporate policies, local regulations, and industry best practices.Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, management reports, and presentations for ownership and regional leadership.Support the Reservations and Revenue teams with financial oversight, forecasting accuracy, and performance evaluation.
