As Director of Finance, you will lead the financial strategy and operations of the hotel during its pre-opening phase and beyond. Reporting directly to the General Manager and serving on the Executive Committee, you will oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, procurement, compliance, systems management, and team development. Your leadership will ensure fiscal responsibility, operational efficiency, and alignment with Hyatt’s global standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute financial strategies for the hotel’s pre-opening and post-opening phasesRepresent Finance on the hotel’s Executive Committee and collaborate with department heads to support business goalsOversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and financial reportingEnsure compliance with local tax laws, Hyatt policies, and regulatory standardsManage internal controls, audits, and risk mitigation systemsSupport strategic planning through scenario analysis, ESG reporting, and investment planningLead digital transformation initiatives including automation and cloud-based systemsAdminister contracts, licenses, insurance, and legal documentation in coordination with relevant partiesMonitor financial KPIs and provide insights to guide operational and strategic decisionsOversee recruitment, training, and development of Finance and IS teamsPromote a culture of integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement
