Apply Today! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Director of Facilities, reporting to the COO manages and maintains buildings, grounds, utilities, and non-clinical equipment for Overland Park Regional Medical Center and Menorah Medical Center. The Director facilitates initiation and completion of construction projects, and oversees contract providers of clinical equipment management. Plans, coordinates, directs, and provides effective leadership for all Facilities services and programs. The Director of Facilities also plans, coordinates, implements and administers an integrated security and safety program to ensure a safe environment for all patients, visitors, employees, physicians and students. Manages facility workplace security/violence program, supports the Employee Safety and Security Committee in setting agenda, supports other Directors in safety and security efforts, develops and maintains an inventory of security equipment and collects and reviews all security data. **What qualifications you will need:** Education: Bachelor’s degree, BSME, BSEE, Business, Security Management, Industrial Safety, Administration of Justice or related field. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, an associate degree in related field with three years plant operations management experience, healthcare safety and security or law enforcement field. Licensure/Certifications: Current and valid driver’s license required. Firearms qualified Experience: A minimum of three years (3) experience required in plant operations, healthcare safety and security. Management Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in administrative positions. Administrative Skills: Requires excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to deal with multiple agendas on an ongoing basis. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Knowledge and experience in basic interviewing and other investigative techniques.
