Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Director of Project Management - a senior leader in the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO). This role is responsible for leading a team of project managers and ensuring large, complex initiatives across the company are delivered successfully. The Director will work closely with executives, set project management standards, and help turn business strategy into measurable results. Duties Include: * Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of project managers * Oversee planning and delivery of complex, cross-functional projects and programs that align with company goals * Establish and improve project management processes, tools, and best practices across the organization * Manage large portfolios and programs with significant budgets, ensuring they meet executive priorities * Translate executive vision into clear, actionable projects that deliver results * Track timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and outcomes to ensure projects stay on track * Monitor and review project manager performance, ensuring quality work and consistent use of EPMO standards * Act as a trusted advisor to executives by identifying risks and recommending solutions * Build strong relationships with stakeholders and business leaders across the company * Define success metrics with business and technical partners and ensure measurable outcomes * Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including preparing and delivering presentations for executives and the board * Promote the use of consistent project management practices across the organization * Use advanced tools to analyze project data and support decision-making * Lead by example with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence * Ensure accuracy and quality in all project deliverables * Maintain oversight and accountability for all projects in the team's portfolio
