Job Summary
The Director of Enterprise Applications, under general direction, plans, organizes, and directs the operations of the Enterprise Applications team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Plans, organizes, and directs operations of the Enterprise Applications division within the department of IT.
+ Oversee the delivery of university enterprise services and applications.
+ Ensures the availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications and services.
+ Participates in developing departmental strategic plans based on department goals.
+ Engages with university stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and students, to understand their needs and requirements.
+ Communicates effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on enterprise services and addressing concerns.
+ Maintains comprehensive documentation of enterprise systems, processes, and procedures.
+ Prepares budget estimate recommendations for the division of Enterprise Applications.
+ Coordinates projects and IT maintenance activities within the division of Enterprise Applications.
+ Implements and enforce robust security measures to protect university data and systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
+ Monitors and research new procedures. Oversee IT personnel performing complex troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades on enterprise systems and applications. Ensures that IT personnel maintain system configuration documentation, inventory of equipment, and operating supplies.
+ Facilitates the collaboration between team members, contractors, and university stakeholders.
+ Hires, trains, assigns duties, schedules work, monitors performance, and evaluates Enterprise Applications personnel. Manages projects and training for team.
+ Provides consultation support to faculty, staff, and students in the use of enterprise-level applications, services, and various information systems technologies, resolves problems, and improves the level of IT services.
+ Conducts and attends meetings.
+ Participates in training and professional development activities.
+ Provides supervision and guidance to a team or department sub-unit(s).

Preferred Experience
Experience with Ellucian’s Banner SIS is preferred.
Minimum Requirements
Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience –Ten years of related experience. Two years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of – Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. Knowledge of the maintenance and installation of computer and network equipment.
Ability to – Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.
Supervision of Others
This position generally supervises employees.
