Join Nike’s Global Supply Chain Technology Organization as the Director of Engineering, Distribution Platform Engineering. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the engineering vision and roadmap for Nike’s global Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including Manhattan Active WM and custom services. You’ll shape the future of Nike’s distribution and transportation platforms, driving innovation, scalability, and resilience across our global supply chain.

Qualifications, Business and Team Leadership

A master level of thinking in engineering.Multiple years leading diverse engineering teams, including multiple managers and squads.Several years of being a practitioner/ hands-on software engineering experience.Extensive and proven experience in management role planning, building, maintaining and managing technology and leading teams.

Technical, Working Knowledge and Skills

Deep expertise in WMS platforms (preferably Manhattan Active WM or WMoS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)Experience with TMS (preferably Blue Yonder) preferredProven success delivering cloud-native microservices and edge-facing applicationsStrong background in Agile, DevOps (CI/CD), and distributed/cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)Experience with Java, Node.js, or Scala; RESTful services; NoSQL (Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB); and RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle)Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, SignalFx, and New RelicDemonstrated ability to launch new microservices and manage legacy systemsProven experience building AI/ML-driven supply chain solutions
