• Enhance the performance and promotion of the hotel's website as an e-marketing communication tool, distribution channels, and revenue-generating methods, while establishing loyalty and two-way customer communication.
• Serve as the hotel's webmaster, collaborating with the marketing communications team to ensure that the website's content is always up-to-date with relevant information and offers, well-maintained, and designed in a customer-friendly manner that reflects the hotel's brand.
• Assist in managing the extranet systems of Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), ensuring that the hotel's latest information and photos are updated promptly.
• Establish beneficial cooperative relationships with local OTAs and suppliers, and recommend new online distribution channels to the Director of Sales and Marketing when appropriate. Act as one of the primary internal contacts for the hotel when interacting with these online travel agencies and suppliers.
• Communicate website maintenance requests and product feature/functionality development requests to the relevant team in Chicago and the Director of Sales and Marketing. Manage the hotel's database to ensure regular updates, tidiness, and relevance. Implement permission-based email marketing campaigns.
• Engage in strategic cooperation with revenue management leaders in marketing, pricing, promotions, and online travel agency relations.
• Work closely with revenue management leaders to analyze and optimize the performance results of all online marketing activities.
• Assist the hotel in planning and implementing online advertising campaigns with local third parties, and monitor the results for effectiveness.
• Possess localized digital expertise, with an understanding of the Chinese domestic market and international businesses entering China.
• Manage the hotel's primary distribution channels, with a key focus on e-channel strategies and functionalities, including e-marketing promotions, search engine optimization, interface website activities, and maintenance of consumer electronic reviews, to support the hotel's marketing objectives and maximize its positive impact in local, national, and international markets.
• Collaborate closely with the Public Relations department on direct and indirect content creation, management, and maintenance to improve website traffic and enhance the user experience on social media channels.
