GPI seeks a Director of Construction Services in our NJ Operations, where you will be responsible for directing and managing all construction services, including staff recruitment and hiring, oversight of field staff and operations, project administration, business development, and participation in proposal development and fee estimates. This position plays a crucial role in our New Jersey operations. Responsibilities:

Conduct business development activities, including research and planning to best realize opportunitiesLead proposal development to win work, including teaming, development of proposal content, and participating in interviews and presentations Represent GPI at client, industry meetings, and conferencesServe as GPI’s point of contact, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partnersRecruit, hire, and manage construction management and inspection staff Review of project documents and requests for proposals to establish scope, staffing needs, and fees for inspection services Negotiate agreements and fees with clients Manage construction inspection operations, including quality, resource allocation, and budgetsBuild upon expertise across CMCI business linesProvide support, training, career development, and employee goal setting Offer staff the knowledge and skills to perform their current roles and adapt to evolving demands effectivelyManage sub-consultantsReview and approve monthly invoicesAssist with the development of department goals and budgets

Qualifications:

20+ years of experience working in the transportation construction inspection industry is a mustExperience with transportation (road, bridge, and rail) projects utilizing applicable client standards, procedures, and document management softwareNJ Professional Engineering License is required Resident Engineering and Project Manager experience with NJDOT and NJTA projects is required
