Minimum Qualifications Applicants must hold a master's degree in nursing, allied health, education, counseling, or a related field and be eligible for faculty appointment. A minimum of five years of experience in nursing or allied health education and prior teaching experience in higher education are required. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills and be committed to supporting student success across multiple instructional sites. Job Specification The Director of CONSAH Academic Services provides cross-campus leadership for academic support services for nursing and allied health students. The Director oversees academic advising, student progression, tutoring services, and retention initiatives while maintaining teaching responsibilities in their faculty discipline. •Serve as the primary representative for academic services supporting nursing and allied health students across all CONSAH campuses. •Provide leadership for student advising progression, retention, and tutoring services in collaboration with program directors and faculty. •Supervise and evaluate academic services personnel, including coordinators, facilitators, tutors, proctors, and support staff. •Oversee the CONSAH Health Services Department, including supervision of the Health Services Nurse, to ensure student clinical credentialing, immunization compliance, and onboarding processes meet institutional and clinical site standards. •Maintain accurate academic and credentialing records for students in accordance with University, FERPA, and programmatic guidelines. •Coordinate scheduling and implementation of student academic activities such as orientation, advising sessions, Freshman Connection, and other engagement initiatives. •Support academic progression by reviewing policies and coordinating responses to student issues such as probation, suspension, and progression appeals. •Collaborate with faculty and program directors to assess and report academic support outcomes, including student satisfaction and retention metrics. •Teach courses in nursing or allied health consistent with faculty appointment and CONSAH workload policies, using evidence-based, student-centered methods. •Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to academic services, student support, and clinical compliance in consultation with CONSAH leadership. •Coordinate with offices such as the Registrar, Financial Aid, Enrollment Services, and institutional Health Services to support student navigation of university processes. •Participate in the CONSAH budget planning process and monitor resource allocation for academic services and credentialing functions. •Actively lead and participate in student recruitment and outreach activities across all instructional sites. •Convene and lead CONSAH academic services and student support meetings to promote shared governance and operational efficiency. •Serve as chair of the CONSAH Student Services Committee and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance the student experience. •Engage in professional development, scholarly activities, and service to maintain knowledge of best practices in academic support and clinical compliance. •Represent the College at institutional, community, and professional events that support academic services and student development.
